However we pride our selves on being as relaxed as possible, the no reception you have to walk through. It's an out building on private land and we befriend most the people who come through our studio. As a result, you can call us what you like... sometimes people refer to us as the Farm but
Wild Sounds - 24 Hour Rehearsal is a relaxed studio right next to the NEC in Bickenhill, Solihull. We have just one public room and altho sometimes we may be rehearsing in the private room the spill isn't a patch on some studios. We try to be as relaxed as poss, not rushin' people out if we have no one in after and such. People have often commented on the acoustics, both the walls and floor are covered in fire proof carpeting with additional insulation in the walls. We do how ever have windows for those hot days and you are more than welcome to open them and not worry about your volume.
Our latest addition to the studio is a pub pool table which cost us a few bob as you'd imagine, so unfortunately it's not freeplay. Being in a band tho, i know only too well that some times practices just hit a brick wall and you're left twiddling your thumbs, be it a creative block or whatever. I hope it offers a bit of a break half way, the chance to not kill a fellow band member (c'mon we all know that feeling) or maybe if you're expecting to be picked up and no one is in after.. stick around and have some games etc. I believe the slight compromise in space will be a welcome addition making the practice room a happier place to be! The above and many other reasons are why people travel from the likes of Nuneaton and Burton to use us over other studios in their area. One band from around the UK has a member that travels from Southampton!
We are used by many bands.. unsigned, signed, touring, starting out.. you name it! We've also had a few photoshoots here.. Razor Bones Clothing with Sweet Seduction, Front Magazine with Sweet Seduction and Pin Up 23 + Galaxy Radio shooting a spoof video

£7.50 an hour 5pm - 9am weekdays and all weekends
£5.50 an hour for every additional hour after 2 (the 3rd hr in a 3 hr practice etc) except peak times 7pm - 11pm weekdays
£1.50 to hire cymbals per practice, Sabian - Hi-Hats, Crash & Ride

We are right next to the NEC about 200 yards past the Arden Hotel towards Coventry on the A45 between the junctions for the Birmingham Airport / Birmingham International Train Station and the M42 / Main NEC entrance / Motorcycle Museum. We're the big brick wall with iron gates just after the bus stop / field... please shut the gates after you.
For those who use public transport, we're a 15 min walk from Birmingham International Train Station where you have several bus stops. Also the 900 bus stops at the bus stop mentioned above near the field as well as the station.
