SAUL WILLIAMS is one of our times illest poets and i'm gonna give u 5 good reasons:
1. EDUCATED: with a degree in a philosophy from Morehouse college and
a Master's in acting from New York University.
2. MULTI-TALENTED: not only a poet but a rapper, actor, preacher, musician, and father.
3. ACCOMPLISHED: 1996 he won the title of Nuyorican Poets Cafe's Grand Slam Champion; 1998 landed lead role in the classic independent film SLAM, which won both the Sundance Festival Grand Jury Prize and the Cannes Camera D'Or, introducing Williams to international audiences; has recorded and released 5 albums; published 4 collections of poetry, etc. (i can go on and on)
