I started martial arts shortly after high school around the age of 19. My first discipline was in Wushu or Kung Fu in the California Wushu Academy in Fremont California. After a short period of time there I realized I needed something that allowed me express myself a different matter. I decided to start boxing, which was my child hood dream at the time, until I found sanshou and Cung Le's Martial Arts studio.
Before I came in here I believe I had earned my stripes being so many street fights as a kid. I wanted to spar right away, I wanted to test myself and where I stood. I was quickly humbled by the veteran students and the coaches..
As time went I got a little experience and looking forward to more.
