About Me

Fuzzy was created after Bill Conway tried to form two other bands back in the late 90's and around 2001.The first band was Uncle Clarence The Thomas - a trip hop band before trip hop had to include keyboards. The music was decent, but the name was a little mean to one of our Supreme Court Justices. I meant it as a ploy - back in the day black kids who sang white songs (or rock music) were called uncle toms. I wanted to play rock, so hence, Uncle Clarence The Thomas.Anyway, after leaving the band Basehead (as a bass player) I decided to form another band. The lead singer from Uncle Clarence The Thomas had left the band, so it was just me, myself, and I. In honor of the singer, and in honor of a crazy screenplay I wrote, I decided to call this new band, Adrienne Billiard. In this band, I started off playing the blues. Most of the songs were about pink and black colors, but the blues theme wasn't something my friends and relatives wanted to hear. So, I tried to do techno without the keyboards. It came off sounding really bad - too much muddy bass on each track. I wasn't sure what to do after my techno disaster so I decided to play jazz. That turned up pretty nice. You can check out my jazz tracks at myspace.com/jxnl4records - (that's J X N L 4).I wanted to branch out and keep playing rock, or alternative, so I tried to come up with a sound similar to the Deaftones. I succeeded and failed because I came up with a sound that was better than my past Adrienne Billiard projects, but it still sounded awful. So, here I am today, leaving you with my want-a-be Deaftone tracks. They sound ok if you're in a garage band kind of mood. I don't sound like the Deaftones, but I tried. So, here we are - it's a new day, and I'm thinking about moving in a new direction. This time I want to rap and sing some more trip hop stuff. I've decided to call the band Fuzzy - mainly because all my rock stuff sounds fuzzy with the added distortion. Sooner or later, I'll phase the distortion out. Until then, the name of my new band is called Fuzzy. I'll try to come out with new tracks in a couple months - just bought a cool keyboard, so we'll see if my new stuff sounds any better. I still need a singer or rapper. I'll try to find one - my voice is hacked out.Yeah, I changed my name again. I used to hang out with this singer who thought of a concept and name for our band. We had planned to do garage stuff, but he started working more with Throwdown Syndicate. Actually, I met Luis after performing with their band. I played in Basehead, they did their thing. They're a good band, so I didn't mind Luis doing the Throwdown Syndicate thing. Anyway, I'm working on trip hop tracks with my new keyboard and I'm singing like Howlin Wolf. I just added distortion to my mic and sang like a blues player. If I ever get my new tracks on disc, I'll upload them here. So, I decided to name my new concept LOve Efil. It's kind of tongue and cheek. I'm loving life, but there are a few things about life that bother me. We all learn to deal with the details. So, I grabbed the name Luis thought of, and now I'm LOve Efil. I have no idea where my band will play. Everything is synthesized, so we shall see.Take it easy, and thanks for reading my bio.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

Here's to having no hair at all. I'm not putting down the bald headed guys who look fashionably cool. It seemed many thought cutting hair was a good idea and tried to make an issue of it. (if you coul...
