About Me

SUB-LIT is a new literary magazine that celebrates the experimental, the new, the different---and dare we say it---the subcultural. SUB-LIT editors are reading for the fourth issue, so submit now at www.sub-lit.com!ISSUE FOUR IS now OUT!! Check us out at www.sub-lit.com/main.html!We are currently reading for issue five-- we are seeking fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and art!

My Interests

Check the website for our FAQ, blog, submission guidelines, and much more!

I'd like to meet:

Writers, artists, and other shady types.

Music:

Nonfiction Editor: Casey ([email protected]) Fiction Editor: Laurah ([email protected]) Assistant Fiction Editor: Kat Poetry Editor: Michael ([email protected]) Art Editor: Amber ([email protected]) Proof Editor: Cris ([email protected])

Movies:

Creative non-fiction: Journalistic pieces are especially encouraged, but we’re open to just about anything, whether it be memoir, humor, essay, or “other”—don’t be afraid to submit a piece that defies genre. The rules for fiction submissions also apply for creative non-fiction, so please read them and follow the rules. The only difference? Address these submissions to [email protected]. Remember, “non-fiction” should not equal “boring.” We’re looking for deft narration, vivid details, and compelling stories.

Television:

Art: We’re open to just about anything, so long as it’s not cheesy, ill-thought out, or asinine. Do beautiful comic book art, or traditional tattoos? Take photos? Make paintings? Submit them as .jpgs (along with a cover letter) to [email protected]. We have limited space for art, so we’re picky.

Books:

Submit now!www.sub-lit.com

Heroes:

literary underdogs.
