About Me

2008: Working with lots of great people this year. Black Acid Candy Box is back as well as other projects not as developed yet. I'm celebrating 28 years of making noise and occasionally music. This year I will be spending a great deal of time rebuilding a new studio, learning new approaches to the instruments and tools that I have been using for so long, and releasing both new material for soundtracks as well as older, remastered material. I am also looking forward to collaborating with some new individuals on some exciting new projects!

2006 - 2007: Solo work and now taking a break from music for a bit. I've just recently relocated back to Louisville after having lived in Brookyn, NY.

2005: Collaborated with fellow "looper" and multi-instrumentalist Krispen Hartung for a project called Xperimentus. This CD is now available at CD Baby. Member of Mathmatica and Louisville-based "The Like" (not to be confused with another band called "The Like", or even another band called "The Like")

2002-2004: Worked with Bob Chapman, drummer for the Louisville-based and internationally-acclaimed Progressive Rock band Easter Island.

2001-2002: Played in IO with the founding members of the band Radio-Active Flowers: Dan Vandermeer (guitars), Marci Vandermeer (vocals, guitars, flute) along with Andrea Vickers (vocals) and drummer/percussionist Kevin Ahern.

1998-2001: Member of the Progressive Trio Caezure Melodius, along with guitarist Tim Nickels and drummer/percussionist and founder, Tara Henry.

1995-1998: Solo work and electronic experimentation under the Dark Halo name.1992-1995: Music hiatus1990-1992: Various session work and collaborations. Nothing necessarily notable.1987-1990: Played bass guitars, synthesizers, and drums in various bands such as "Me and Them" and Ancestor Worship.1984-1986: Drummer for Ancestor Worship.1982-1984: Bass guitars and synthesizers for Rush cover band "Countdown", Japan cover band "Sons of Pioneers", and several music projects.

Local music scenes and the disappointment thereof

Imagine a Clint Allen that is not frustrated with "popular", trendy music. Gaaaaaaa................. As a person interested in music, living in Louisville is often a weird time at best. One will often...
