I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !
History:
Dead and Buried is the UK's first, premier and leading [contemporary] Deathrock clubnight.
The idea behind Dead and Buried is similar to that of US and German clubs such as 'Release the Bats' [LA]and the Drop Dead Festival [NYC], Pagan Love Songs, Under Cover of Darkness and the Gothic Pogo Party [Germany].
These are club nights that generally attract those who enjoy old school Goth and Punk music but play quite different music to most “Generic Goth†clubs today. Truly "the underground of the underground" - the real
alternative."
Dead and Buried is NOT a 'generic Goth' clubnight
The DJ's play a mix of music ranging from:
Deathrock, Batcave, Old School Punk, Traditional/Old School Goth to HorrorPunk, Synthpunk, Gothabilly + Graveyard Garage, Post Punk & Dark Indie, 80's NDW, Minimal and New Wave.
We *DO NOT* play any EBM/Techno, Contemporary Industrial or Metal of any description
Dead and Buried's resident DJ:
DJ Cavey Nik and we have regular quality guest DJs most months.
The club was founded by DJ Cavey Nik and is organised, hosted and promoted by him with the help of a few close and reliable friends.
At Dead and Buried we aim to educate and entertain the customers. We are prepared to take risks. Dead and Buried is not a "social club" and we want people to PARTY and DANCE!
We strive to be different and at the same time accessable to all who are
open-minded enough to try us out! Cavey Nik
loves the Dead and Buried regulars [Dabers] for their love of cool music, style, attitude and musical open-mindedness!
