I was born in Annonay (07 France) the 28th of March 1983. I live close to Annecy, to the Alps. I am the first one of a family made of 7 children.Quite soon I discovered some bands like AC/ DC (when I was twelve), “Hail Caesar” was often played on the radio as songs as “Antisocial” from Trust or “Bleeding me” from Metallica or “Killing in the name” from Rage against the machine and some other bands I appreciated a lot… but it was far to be a passion for me at this period of my life.During high school I met a tall guy with very long and sticky hair, dressed with jeans and some kind of “cowboy” boots, I found him quite ridiculous … But knowing him better I discovered this guy was really cool, funny, and listening a very interesting music: HEAVY METAL! It was a revelation when I saw him playing the electric guitar and singing on “For whom the belle tolls” at the high school fair…. This was clearly what I wanted to do…I bought my first guitar in 1999 and began to learn playing it with Dominique Leurquin (Dream Child, Rhapsody of fire, Inner Visions, Luca Turili’s Dream Quest) who was the man in the region I lived. I also worked a lot covering every song of my favourite band: Metallica. Then, I thought it was to slow and I began to work on Iced Earth tunes and other faster bands … I met Kevin Choiral in 2001 and it’s with him I created my first real serious band as singer/ guitar player: INSOMNY. I sang because it was impossible to find the man we expected. The first time I did it I felt knives carving my vocal chords. It was a serious reason to take lessons with a good vocal teacher for 3 years. We made 3 demo CD: “Slave of society”(2002), “Vicious dictatorship” (2003) and “Not born to be guilty” (2004).In 2004 drinking quietly a coffee on Dominique’s pavement, I learnt he was looking for a new singer for his band “INNER VISIONS” so I told him I was able to do the job; first he didn’t give attention to it… Two months later I recorded the first album “Control the past” and I was ready to go on tour supporting Sonata Arctica… After the album Frederic de Cecco phoned me because his guitar creator (Cappelli who’s the guy who made the Dominique and Luca Turili’s guitars) talked about me. The songs he sent me sounded very impressive and original so I accepted the project. We made a demo CD o, 2007 and it’s on the way. The band is called FURTHER DIMENSION. At the moment the first INSOMNY album will be mixed soon. Check the blog to get some news.I hope you will feel the passion I’m trying to transmit in my music.
