About Me

Hi everybody !My name is Gerard FOIS and I m the lead vocalist of the melodic Power/Prog Metal French band ETERNAL FLIGHT (see www.myspace.com/eternalflight ). I also take care of the production (I produced the 1st album Positive Rage released worldwide in 2004 through Italian label CRUZ DEL SUR MUSIC and the demo released in 2002) and the management of the band. I like to cover many styles of singing but I like my vocals to be powerful, varied, full of feelings and emotion and Im also known to reach really high technical notes but without forgetting melody which is the most important thing to create interesting catchy lines. Besides that I play also the guitar, keyboards and Im sound engineer (I recorded and mixed for example the first album of a Heavy Thrash band from France called HELLIXXIR and this album should be released in 2006). I sing also in some cover bands and give singing lessons! I write also some music for commercials, short movies, etc Some may also know me because of my past activities with my older band DREAM CHILD. I did 2 albums with them (Torn Between Two Worlds in 1996 through BRENNUS and Reaching The Golden Gates, this later being released worldwide in 1999 by METAL BLADE RECORDS!). I plan also to release also some other projects but they are only locked and located inside my head for the moment! This page will cover all these activities but is mainly focused on ETERNAL FLIGHT which is my NUMBER ONE musical priority especially because we are releasing right now a 2nd album called "Under the sign of will" through NIGHTMARE RECORDS in the USA, Canada and Central America and THUNDERING RECORDS in Europe!
