Great prices for indie labels and artists

About Me

There's not a problem that we can't fix, because we can do it, in the mix!
lol
Our avatar photo is our standard Surround recording microphone setup. At the mix it falls into an awesome stereo image. And when you would need a surround mix of the same recording, it would be there too! ;-)
At Ambrosia Studios, we offer a wide range of audio visual production, consulting and teaching services for more than 16 years. Since 1996, we have 12 years of web presence, that is ancient in internet time :-)
Audio Visual Productions
We have a good selection of microphones, including vintage Telefunkens from the 60s, as well as exotic and hand built ones. State of the art equipment - 56 channels of digital audio input / output (192kHz / 24bit) with unlimited mix channels. 40 channels of analogue mix summing is also available, including a Revox Studer reel to reel 1/4'' tape machine.
We can go for an ultra clean sound for classical and ethnic recording, to punchy sound for pop, rock and dance, or to vintage and lo-fi (low fidelity) sound with true vintage equipment. We can also orchestrate your demo at any musical style.
For most of our services (mixing, (re-) mastering) we can work over the internet for very competitive prices. You get a quote, upload your files to our ftp server, you pay with Paypal, Kagi, Western Union, we do our work, you approve it and you download back your finished song or album in an .iso format that you could burn to a CD and send directly to the reproduction factory.
Please check our services page.

The following video is a music piece with an abstract video that it has been commissioned by a dear friend and art collector for the arts exhibition "ReWorks" that he is organizing on September 2008 at Thessaloniki, Greece.
It is an ambient piece with various elements and a surprising heavy metal passage that is a base for a cellos melody. I have tried the abstract visuals to augment the emotions that are generated be the music. But still as all visuals, the human eye is been captivated. Just once, please listen to the music with your computer screen turned off and allow your minds eyes to "see" the music.
Technical details: (for the nerds)
From the YouTube page you can also watch it in higher resolution. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnSAcWXdTqI
The music was been composed and mastered at 5.1 surround 96kHz/24bit. The video footage has been shot at 720 HD video. The video editing and final mastering has been done at 1080i video 5.1 audio. Subsequent lower resolution videos has been done with stereo audio track. All audio and video work has been done at my personal studio Ambrosia Studios.
