Tommy Flowers was born and raised in the musical melting pot that is London, where he observed and soaked up the dance music revolution of the late 80's and early 90's. These experiences have fuelled his diverse and eclectic musical taste, which manifests each week on his vibrant radio show. Tommy has been DJing for 13 years and doesn't look like slowing down with a steady succesion of gigs to his credit since his arrival in New Zealand in 2003 and plenty more in the diary to come. Tommy's unique broadcasting talent has been in action in various forms since 1993, and he currently presents a weekly TV show on nationwide music station Alt TV - definite proof he can handle himself in front of a camera as well as behind a microphone. He's been with Base FM since the beginning in 2004, and currently holds down the popular Friday Breakfast slot, making him the obvious choice as daily Breakfast Host.
