DUBSTEP ALLIANCE AOTEAROA
Auckland-based crew Dubstep Alliance represent their unique vibe honed at their fortnightly clubnight, weekly radio shows and regular international support slots. The Alliance is represented by DJ’s OoGuN, Shutta, Scott Detail and MC/DJ Dapht One.OOGUN relocated from London late in 2006 and has fast become one of NZ’s top Dubstep DJ/Producers as anyone who has witnessed his live DJ sets will attest. The ‘Drunk Elephant Soundsystem’ rolls with plenty of weight including fresh dubplates from 6Blocc, DZ, Babylon System, RSD, Clouds, Mungo's Hi Fi, Roommate, Antiserum and others as well as exclusive OoGuN productions, remixes and the freshest NZ dubs.

DAPHT ONE is a specialist host MC having received biggups from scene heavyweights Loefah, Benga, N-Type, Mala, Cotti, Pinch and Caspa for a style of MCing that put the vibes and the tunes first. Dapht is the resident Alliance MC and also regularly hosts Christchurch's Subtle Soundsystem. Check Dapht1 spinning dubs from Headhunter, Flying Lotus, Cotti, Starkey, L-Que, J-Red and more from 9pm at the Gutter Music weekly.

SHUTTA is also a former UK stepper, where he held down with the South West's Sub Heavy Soundsystem. Now residing in the AK he brings a tuff back catalogue of garage and 2-steppers as well as a taste for the more musical side of Dubstep.

SCOTT DETAIL has Junglist roots and brings a unique take on Dubstep, a former resident of the Nelson area he is a member of the Roast Crew and a regular player at the Phat NYE festival. Scott is often busy in the studio working on some killer dubplate or another! Hold tight for the Scott Detail (Live) show currently in the works!
