ELO - Time

Created in 1981, I tell the tale of a nameless man who is enticed by time travelers to experience the wonders of the future. Once there, he is abandoned and left to his own devices in the year 2095 A.D., where man has conquered nearby space and signs of advanced technology and unseen oppression are everywhere. A place where "night is day, and twilight's gone away." While longing for his girlfriend and searching for a way back to 1981, he is forced to face the inevitable results of our actions today and the bleak, ultimate fate of planet Earth and all humankind that our ignorance, materialism, and laziness has allowed.
