About Me


Kajetan Galas - pianist and organist, commonly specialized in Jazz, Jazz-rock, Latin and similar genres. Born to make music. In 1990, in small industrial city Belchatow in the middle of Poland, he uttered his first scream. Some says that it was C7 chord. Syncopated. Through his short life he estabilished with many instruments like bass guitar, drums, percussion and guitar. Nowadays he is still searching for new skills but he is still retracing to piano in jazz frame.
Started playing at age 5 from playing keyobard with private tutor. He started learning in music school in 1997 and he graduated with honours in 2003. After about 3 years of experimenting with other musical instruments, and seriously thinking about medical studies he started next level in his musical education.
In 2006 he started studying in Krakow School Of Jazz and Contemporary Music under guidance of great musicians: Grzegorz Motyka, Adam Niedzielin, WOjciech Groborz, Andrzej Schmidt, Pawel Kuzmicz, Leszek Nowotarski. Kajetan is member of school bebop combo. This school offers secondary level of music education, preparing students to professional work. Moreover this school is a member of International Association of Schools of Jazz. Kajetan finished this school in July 2008

His last projects was
- Fusion Jazz trio with Michal Dziobon and Marcin Chryczyk (few performances in Zakopane) and
- Organ Trio with great young musicians: Szymon Fortuna, drums (Middlesex University, London, Jazz Department) and Wojtek 'Faza' Zwierniak, sax (Music Academy in Katowice, Jazz Department) - Music arrangement with vocalist Marcin Flak.
Kajetan is also maniac of vintage keyboards especially Hammond Organ. This is his biggest passion and main course of action. He would like to keep alive that dying art - Organ in Jazz music
