Dj Krime, born in 1978 in Krakow Poland, from birth was deeply immersed in music and creativity. His musical journey started in the tender age of 7, when he went to music school to learn about music and study violines and piano for over 12 years.
His first concious contact with hip hop music was in the late 80's when his older brother gave him a copy of a Run DMC "Raising Hell" tape. Krime got fascinated with the music, and specially Jam Master Jays cuts. In the early 90s his older brother Mk Fever started to organize parties in Krakow , which was pretty much the birth of what is known as club culture in Poland today. He was playing vinyl, cds, and tapes. In 1993 the brothers got a set of some cheap belt driven turntables, and a mixer without crossfader, and then Krimes dj adventure took it first baby steps. Together with the help of few friends they started to organize gigs in Krakow, which initially proved difficult as most peoples never heard this kinda music ( Krimes brother was more into electronic sounds) and the club owners didnt really wanted to risk too much.After a few years things began to change and so did Krimes set up. The Brothers moved on a set of Technics turntables. Krime already was playing a lot of gigs in Poland, and also started to play a little bit abroad as well. He was also practicing on the decks hard all the time, and got really into scratch music and turnatablism scene.
In the Year 2000 Krime became a participiant of the internationally renowned Red Bull Music Academy which was held in Dublin, Ireland, being a only hip hop dj chosen from Poland, and one of the very fews in the whole academy that year.
In the Year 2001 Krime took part in the first edition of Vestax Turnatblist Extravaganza Eastern Europe, and took the first place, unlucky for him the U.S. embassy in Krakow refused to give him a visa without any reason, so he couldnt go to the world finals in L.A . A Year later Krime defended his title, and in the Year 2003 he won the first edition of the polish ITF chapter. Also this year Krime placed second in the Whells On Fire battle in Berlin in the classic category, and first in the drums deluxe category.
Krimes musical styles developed with time and he started to play really diffirent styles of music. Specially fascinated with jazz, funk, and soul, Krime started to to dig in the crates.
In his sets you can hear basically every music thats good, because there is only good and bad music, and the names are not so important.

Run DMC, Soul 2 Soul, Morecheeba, dj Qbert, X-Ecutioneers, Das EFX, Group Home, Afu Ra, dj Vadim, Goldie, Afrikaa Bambaataa, Herbaliser, Mixologists, Marc Hype, Killa Kela, Scratch Perverts just to name a few.
He also relased a few mix cds, and recorded cuts for diffirent crews in Poland and Germany
Nowadays hes somewhere b tween Berlin where hes studying and Poland where hes taking part in diffirent musical projects with Polands top jazz musicians. His newest project consist of himself, polands wickedest scratcher dj Eprom, and polands best drummer Krzysztof Dziedzic. Nowadays Krime is starting to produce his own music.
