Greg Boyer

Trombonist / Arranger

About Me

I got my professional start at 15 playing tenor sax locally in southern Maryland. After three semesters at St Mary's College, I joined Parliament/Funkadelic at the age of 19, where I was the trombonist/arranger for the P-Funk Horns until my retirement in 1996. Currently I'm working with Prince & the NPG Band as trombonist and horn arranger. Over the years, I've played with other artists/groups such as Maceo Parker; Bootsy Collins; the GAP Band; Hank Williams, Jr; Sheila E; Stanley Clarke; go-go godfather Chuck Brown; gospel great Richard Smallwood; reggae artists Third World, Israel Vibrations, and Patra; house diva Crystal Waters; Dog Eat Dog, and countless others. You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !
