This is the left side of my brain, as well as the right, up and down I'm Jay Young. I didn't really want to put my name as artist, Joint Project came up as a name in a recording studio, I was doing a recording for my demo before going into school at Berklee College of Music, then had to come up with something to put in those sheets for the producer. So that was the birth of the name. Since then I have recorded with different people played under that name and release songs under that name. Most of this songs were produced when I was in Berklee, and after, But to make things short, I'm just a full bloodied Bass Player!
Currently Joint Project is not based anywhere, It is compose of multiple people from different countries under one goal of making music with friends and new friends. Anywhere between New York and Cebu Philippines is the range.
Ranges of collaborations in this group is endless: race, genre, age, experience doesn't really matter, making joint project is about having shared input into one moment hence having a nice time making music and memories. Joint Project doesn't limit to just that, photographers, videographers, merchants, accountants, presidents and even escorts are highly encouraged to join. and maybe in the future a good lawyer.As of the moment I have nothing to say, but please listen to the sounds that are ringing in his head. Please be kind enough to add some comments in your visit and listenning to the songs ... I Believe that making sexual music will increase the love making in the world. Just think of the world with all the people getting it! There would be less stress, less hunger(who gets hungry right?), Happier people, less crime, and if all the world leaders would just be getting more it would result to PEACE ON EARTH! in Short, Everyone make music for intense sexual satisfaction in order for everyone in the world to be getting sum and which would result to a more peaceful world.
Just added: As of 2007 my tenure of not being a musician is over, I have taken this stupid long break from 2006, to concentrate on something new, I came back home (Cebu PH), since I got back been working in a TV station (RCTV Rocks! plug on the station Channel 36) started writing more of jingles and stuff,and then currently producing a local show, People ask what happened to the music, didn't have much of an answer, I was just taking a break, the past 5 years(and years before that)in Berklee,and playing in bands in Boston and New York and also before I left Cebu(hi to the bands by the way miss you guys),Took the break, now i'm finally itching to play(was itching since i stopped actually but war wounds have to heal to get better right?), write , record, and produce so lets wait and see. I think 2007 is gonna kick like no other year...
