Dalibor Dado Marinkovic was born in 1976, Doboj BiH. He lived there through his childhood and, when he turned 15 moved first to Vienna, Wolfsburg, and finally, he settled in Stuttgart, Germany. There he started his cooperation with musical band „Casablanca“ (1994.), which featured Mladen Vojicic – Tif, playing concerts all across Europe. In 1995 he started cooperation with Dino Merlin, touring major metropolises across the globe (New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Berlin, Paris, Sidney, Melbourne, Perth, Istanbul...) including most of the Europe's and ex Yugoslavia cities. During these tours the band played large scale concerts, including two gigs at Sarajevo's stadium Koševo, in front of approximately 80 000 fans.
In 2001 Dado moved to Zagreb, Croatia. There he was soon recognized as a great instrumentalist by many major names in Croatian musical industry, no matter what genre: pop, rock, jazz, world music, r&b etc...
Next couple of years he spent working hard and largely contributing to Croatian musical production. His effort was soon to be acknowledged - in 2004. he received „Status“ award, for the best drummer of the year.
2005 marked the start of a close collaboration with Gibonni, helping him create his last album „Unca fibre“. Working on that album Dado played with world famous fellow musicians: Manu Katche, Tony Levin, Tommy Emmanuel, Vlatko Stefanovski, Matija Dedic, Nikša Bratoš, Kristijan Terzic and others.
Currently he lives and works in Zagreb, being one of the most wanted all around instrumentalists in Croatia.
