MyGen.co.uk - myPlaylist Creator I record and produce many different types of bands. I approach every recording differently, trying to avoid the cookie cutter approach of many studios these days. The final product should sound like the band not like the studio that recorded it. I record all types of bands, from folk to metal, from raw crust punk to slick sounding pop punk. Some bands sound better with an open organic sound, others with a tight slick produced sound and whatever's in between. I push bands to achieve their full potential, to make an album that suits them not push them in a direction they dont want to go in, working as efficiently as possible so the project gets done within the bands budget without sacrificing quality. Although it doesn't always work with every bands schedule, I prefer to work on one project at a time, in order to give the project my full attention, and push for this to happen as often as I can. I've played in many different styles of bands including knifefight the world , calling blue skies , super no. 7 , red sky and many many more. I usually understand the sound each band that comes to me is going for and am always open to trying new ideas and sounds. I offer the best equipment in the area (including top of the line mics, preamps, reverbs, and rooms) and my prices starting around 300 for a full day of recording are extremely competitive. The studio is located in midtown Erie, behind forward hall and has access to many different tracking enviroments, including forward hall, a bowling alley and a huge ballroom.
