Over 300 Shows 39 Cities 54,000 miles touring
Think back, remember there was a time when bands like Slayer were considered too underground, and Metallica was considered too out there for mainstream. Now they're a radio mainstay, practically classic rock. All because someone had the balls, and was tired of the safe, sugary swill that they were being force fed by a bloated machine and put their neck on the line, took a chance, and shook up the stagnation that breeds safe music.
After years of burning below the radar, tearing through the midwest, playing everything from sweatbox toilet-like clubs all the way up to House Of Blues and all points in between. REBELS WITHOUT APPLAUSE has been steadily working the underground, armed with the work ethic of ''Get in where you fit in, then throw down and tear it loose.'' With two self releases (1-5-song e.p.,''Rip-Hop, Soulcore, Crush, and their 2nd release, Low End Head Stomp''), and along with tons of merchandise, it's all about building. Mile after mile, brick by brick, all the while leaving a constantly growing rabid fan base with the calling card we call a CD. They've played with a collage of bands such as Mudvayne, Soil, Disturbed, Black Label Society, Shadows Fall, Stone Sour, Lacuna Coil, Stuck Mojo, Bobaflex, Rikets, D.O.P.E., Vanilla Ice, Stabbing Westward, Trouble, and Bad Brains to name a few. Always connecting with, and crossing genres, always coming off like a'' Heavy Groove, Mack Truck-Concussion Dispensor'' creating an eclectic range in which their sound thrives. Currently writing for their 3rd release ''Grand Funk Hell Hole'' the grind continues...
