Developmental Productions is a company dedicated to the expansion of particular underground artists in the Chicago land area. We accomplish this though various street and internet promotions and host events from time to time. Developmental Productions
is not a record label, we are promoters though we do provide management for Chicago artists Grim the Labrat and Brimstone. The music we promote we believe to have something unique and isn't easy to label with a genre but you can say that this music is spawned from different styles of Rap/Hip-Hop. Though it isn't easy to define there is a market for it, it’s a market that we have scene dwindle over the years in our area. It’s our mission to breathe life back into the appreciation and love for these styles of music throughout Chicago.

Is Developmental Productions Looking For New Artists To Manage/Promote?
Not at the current time. With what we provide for these artists we don't have the means to take on other artists. However we are always looking for artists to play our next event. We are open to anyone and anything when it comes to booking artists for shows. If you would like to be considered for our next event you can send your info to [email protected].
Is There A Street Team I Can Join?
We currently do not have an organized street team and do not plan on one at this time. We do have flyers at the bottom of this page along with the HTML codes for anyone who feels they would like to help spread the word, all help is greatly appreciated.
Can You Do Graphics For Me?

D-Mentals Notes: Brimstone has been on the scene for a while playing basement shows until about a year ago when he started stepping onto a real stage. Once the crossed over to playing in venues he has been rapidly growing and building more. His music is also rapidly improving, he has come miles since I first met him, he still has miles to go but he’s more then ready for that ride. He is also the most intelligent rapper that I know and believe me when I say he has the lyrics to back that up. A lot of the respect he has gained is due to the fact that he is a very lyrical person. When playing shows right along side of him you can take my word for it when I say that each time we do it he gets more and more love. He very well might be the future of Chicago's underground Hip-Hop scene.

D-Mentals Notes: Delusional is the true entrapanuer of this generation. He is the owner of Anti-Authority Records which already
has many artists signed such as DWB, Stichy C, Nalls, Tactic and Tre Hustle, and Seth Chaos (producer). Anti-Authority has already signed a deal with Universal Records for national distribution for DWB. He has so much going on and is growing at such a rapid rate you just have to visit his website to understand what I'm talking about. As far as his music early on he was really pushing his own style of "Punk Rap" which he still does but is more Hip-Hop oriented these days. His music is undeniable to anyone who hears it. He has already played many shows with national and mainstream artists and is instantly loved everywhere he plays (such as Khia, Mike Jones, and Lil Flip on MTV's spring break). He's on the fast track to success and its only a matter of time before his name is in the mouths of everyone you know.
GRIM THE LABRAT

D-Mentals Notes: Grim the Labrat is one of the most talented individuals I have met. As far as his music he can play multiple
instruments and many different styles of music that he likes to integrate into his own recordings. He needs no producer because
he does everything %100 on his own from going to a thought to a finished product. He makes music that can compete on a professional
level with seriously outdated and fried equipment. He truly improves with each song he records and that has been consistent since I have known him. Every time he plays a show he is received better then almost anyone I have ever seen (on an underground level). His first show was at the Congress Theater in Chicago just one day after receiving one of his final chemotherapy treatments at the end of his battle with cancer. He was still disoriented from the chemo and still was able to walk on stage with no one knowing his name and leaving with everyone chanting it. Even when I was able to get him booked on Blaze's Tombstone Terror Tour in Rockford, IL the results were the same. Though it is a challenge finding promoters who will book him, as soon as they hear his violent lyrics and see his painted face they run the other way. There have been many shows I personally tried to get him on that won't even touch him because they don't feel he is fitting for it. For now Grim the Labrat shows will be few and far in between because of this so when you see his name on a flyer you might want to think
twice before you pass it up.

D-Mentals Notes: Rumble House are easily the 3 craziest people I have ever met. Their shows are so energetic that you will leave the
venue with your hair sticking up. It’s like trying to push 5,000 volts with 5,000 amps through a 1-ohm resistor. You can't stop them, and their music is just as crazy as they are. They do Hip-Hop with metal integrated into their music truly bringing out the best of both worlds. I would say that then have somewhat of a universal sound meaning that no matter who you are for the most part they'll have something that you like. For years they have been tearing it up in Kalamazoo and now starting to expand beyond that into Chicago and doing it all over again. They have played only a few shows in these neck of the woods but since the first time I brought them out here they were and instant hit.
