Blondeyed Bluey

Phat Beats and Tasty Melodies

About Me

Blondeyed Bluey is notorious for its funky grooves, long jams and love for diverse music. It is often said that Blondeyed Bluey is a melting pot of all music styles including Rock, Funk, Classical, Jazz, and Blues. Blondeyed Bluey has played gigs all around their local North Carolina including the 2006 Roxaway music festival. Blondeyed Bluey was formed in 2004 out of the ashes of Robinson and Harenberg's band Mental Eclipse and Arnette's band Mantis. The three began jamming and immediatly started gig's around their hometown of Brevard. Arnette's phat bass lines paired up with her funky riffs, soulful voice and her incorporation of the french horn spawned Blondeyed Bluey tunes like "Spank That Bass" and "Hobo's Blanket". Harenberg's influences include The Who's Keith Moon, Led Zeppelin's John Bonham, and The Police's Stewart Copeland. Steve bring's intricate fusion drumming out in such songs as "Harenbergs Last Stand" and "I Know Who Did This To Me". Robinson's influences range from jazz to country to rock and metal, and he covers many spectrums in his lead and rhythm guitar parts. His love of Funk comes out in "I Want a Girl" and "Phat Olives". The band is planning on touring around this summer and are currently recording there first cd. Robinson says "I love this band, I love the music it makes, and I love the members; we'll be doing this as long as we can". for booking information drop us a line
