Musicista e cantautore presente da diversi anni sulla scena milanese, Fabio Roveroni ha cominciato a fare musica fin da bambino, studiando pianoforte al conservatorio di Milano. Ancora molto giovane si avvicina al jazz frequentando il “salotto†di Giorgio Gaslini e cominciando a calcare i palchi di clubs tra i quali gli storici Scimmie, Tangram e Capolinea. L'approccio con le tastiere e l'elettronica avviene sul finire degli anni '80 -suona, tra gli altri, coi Novecento e con Gigi Cifarelli-, comincia poi a cantare, dapprima in piccoli locali e con piccole formazioni, poi con una propria 'cover band' in live clubs e discoteche del Nord-Ovest. Anche in un periodo come questo, artisticamente ancora assai povero, i musicisti con cui suona sono di altissimo livello e spesso presenti in tournée e situazioni importanti; citiamo almeno Eugenio Mori, Pierpaolo D'Emilio, Luca Colombo, Paola Repele, Silvio Verdi, Mauro Colangelo ed Emilio Cuccato. Nei primi anni '90 è anche musicista della nota radio RTL e realizza per quella e per altri networks svariati jingles e sigle, alcune delle quali in onda fino a non molto tempo fa.Dal '94 suona anche la chitarra e compone canzoni con continuità . E' del '95, grazie a Vincent Messina, il primo contratto, con la BMG. Alla fine del '97, con la prima band (E. Cuccato Chit. - Andrea De Filippo Basso - Fabrizio Grecchi Tastiere e Alex Ducoli Batteria) esce per la Ricordi il primo disco 'ufficiale': "FABIO ROVERONI", co-prodotto con il grande Mauro Pagani. Di quel disco ricordiamo un pezzo,"Vedi di cagarmi quando parlo", molto utilizzato all'interno della trasmissione Ciro - il figlio di Target , il video di "Danza di mezzanotte" e un lungo tour come supporter della PFM.Dopo una breve e poco fortunata collaborazione, nel 2000, con Enzo Miceli e Daniele Silvestri, sono seguiti alcuni anni di sostanziale silenzio artistico ma di notevole attività lavorativa, soprattutto live, in cui forma anche un duo con la bravissima Sarah De Magistri - i Lithium Flowers - e una situazione acustica molto piacevole con A. Ducoli, Max Confalonieri -ex Zoo e Polsi Sciolti - al Contrabbasso e un chitarrista eccezionale purtroppo ancora poco conosciuto di nome Stefano Melchiorre. Con questa formazione e con il nome di Stil Novo partecipa al festival di Recanati 2004 giungendo in finale e raccogliendo diversi positivi commenti.La band attuale si forma nel 2006 e vede l'ormai inseparabile Alex Ducoli alla batteria, Ferdinando Mazzuca al basso e Marco Leo alla chitarra. Sempre nel 2006 nascono la casa di produzione CARDIOPHONE e il suo secondo album, "Eprom", di cui potete avere ampia visione nel sito ufficiale www.fabioroveroni.it (o .com in alternativa) Ha anche pre e post-prodotto il primo album dei Von Rosis per la Pirames International e ha soprattutto lavorato, grazie alla MBO di Mario e Olly Ragni, sull'album del giovane e promettente cantautore Marco Baroni. Con Marco, finalista di quest'ultima 57a edizione del Festival di San Remo, ha calcato il prestigioso palco come direttore d'orchestra; del suo album, uscito nel Marzo 2007, è stato arrangiatore e realizzatore -suonando tastiere, cori e gran parte delle chitarre-, nonché fonico, avendolo registrato nel proprio studio e mixato poi nello studio Didde con il fantastico Marco Guarnerio.Da un anno collabora poi come co-autore con Eugenio Mori. E' sua la musica -testo di Marlena- dell'ultimo singolo di Jessica Morlacchi (la ex voce dei Gazosa) "Pensieri timidi"Una curiosità : se capitate in Giappone e sentite in televisione una pubblicità di sughi 'all'Italiana' cantata in Italiano...beh, è Fabio Roveroni!--------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------Fabio Roveroni, musician and song-writer for many years on Milan music setting, started playing music when he was a child, completing later on his studies at the Music Conservatory of Milan. Still very young he approached Jazz attending Giorgio Gaslini's "entourage" and playing in the most well-known clubs in Milan (the historical 'Scimmie', for example).Towards the end of the '80s, he approaches keyboards and electronic sounds -among the musicians he plays with, the Italian band 'Novecento' and Gigi Cifarelli.He soon starts singing, at first in little situations, then with his own cover band in live clubs and discos in the Italian North-west. This period is artistically quite poor, but the musicians he plays with are still high level ones and, still nowadays, play in important tournées and situations. Just to mention some of them: Eugenio Mori, Pierpaolo D'Emilio, Luca Colombo, Paola Repele, Silvio Verdi, Mauro Colangelo, Emilio Cuccato.During the early '90s Fabio is the music-maker in one of the most well-known radio station in Italy and realizes, for it and many other ones (Radio Montecarlo, RDS, Radio Capital...), jingles and theme songs, some of which have been on air still few years ago.In 1994 he starts playing guitar and composing songs. In 1995, thanks to Vincent Messina, he signs the first contract with BMG.At the end of 1997, with his first band (Emilio Cuccato, guitar – Andrea De Filippo, bass – Fabrizio Grecchi, keyboards – Alex Ducoli, drums) he gives birth to the first official album, produced with Mauro Pagani and distributed by BMG-Ricordi. We can remember a song, "Vedi di cagarmi quando parlo", used a lot during a popular TV Show, and a long tour as a supporter of the Italian prog-band PFM.After a short and quite unlucky cooperation (year 2000) with Enzo Miceli and Daniele Silvestri, Fabio spent some years of a certain "artistical silence", though very active anyway, mostly with live performances. He forms a duo with Sarah De Magistri, the 'Lithium Flowers', and a very nice acoustic situation with Alex Ducoli, Max Confalonieri at the ac. bass and an excellent, though not much known, guitar player, Stefano Melchiorre. Under the name of Stil Novo in 2004 they take part to Recanati music Festival, getting to the finals and receiving a lot of positive comments.The actual band was born in 2006, with the inseparable Alex Ducoli and with Ferdinando Mazzuca (bass) and Marco Leo (guitar). Of this CD Fabio has been arranger, realizer and keyboards/guitars/choirs player; the album was recorded in his own studio and mixed in Didde studio, in cooperation with the fantastic Marco Guarnerio.With Marco Baroni, finalist in the section "young singers" of this later 57° San Remo music festival, he also was on this famous stage as orchestral conductor.Last but not least, Fabio has been cooperating for one year as an author with Eugenio Mori, and wrote the music -lyrics by Marlena- of the latest Jessica Morlacchi single "Pensieri Timidi"Curious news: if you happen to be in Japan and to listen by TV a jingle, sung in Italian, of some Italian sauces... well, it's Fabio Roveroni!
