One thing I need to get off my shoulders: I keep seeing these people claiming that Metropolis is in New York... Metropolis is in Kansas!!! It's a 3 hour drive from Smallville, but I can run there in about 10 minutes.
I've had fans ask me why I claim Metropolis to be in Kansas, if you ever watch Smallville, you would know they claim it to be only 3 hours from Smallville. This is my reasoning, but for those of you who disagree, here is where the REAL Metropolis is: Illinois , click Illinois to see the real Metropolis, USA! I'm known as Clark Kent, the bungling news reporter for the Daily Planet, I'm in love with Lois Lane, even though as teenagers I couldn't stand being in the same room with her, I grew to fall in love with her after many years. Most know me as Superman, many are too blind to see through my nerdy disguise and it's really a shame. I tried so hard when I was younger to be with the girl next door, Lana Lang, but I had to let her go, for some reason I just didn't trust her enough to let her in my life.
Growing up was hard for me because unlike normal humans, I was special, I could run faster than a train at full speed, I could jump on top of 100 story buildings and pick up a 2 ton tractor without breaking a sweat. My dad was a lucky man to have me helping out aroung the farm, rest his soul.
These days I work for the Daily Planet as a reporter and the man of steel, they call me superman, when I'm really not even a man. I'm not human at all, I come from the planet Krypton that is about 28 galaxies away from earth. Most know my only weakness is a meteor from that planet called kryponite, it could kill me. Just ask Lex Luther, he has tried hundreds of times...
My once good friend Lex Luther turned into a bad apple and is now my arch nemesis and always plotting to take over the earth and trying to kill me. Luckily I have many freinds that care enough to put thier own lives on the line for mine. That's my story in a nutshell, you can read more about me in DC comic books called "Superman".
