About Me

“The true essence of humankind is kindness. There are other qualities which come from education or knowledge, but it is essential, if one wishes to be a genuine human being and impart satisfying meaning to one's existence, to have a good heart.” "You don’t need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Don’t even listen, simply wait. Don’t even wait. Be quite still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you. To be unmasked, it has no choice. It will roll in ecstasy at your feet" Kafka ........................ This is one of the few films that show a physically challenged protagonist to be an able body hero. This is an inspirational film for everyone

My Interests

This is one of the few films that show a physically challenged protagonist to be an able body hero. This is an inspirational film for everyone On so many levels this film will help inspire the able bodied and handicap alike. With so many amputees being “made” in Iraq and sent home that way, THEY need to see this story ..to give hope. Gator is the only person in Professional boxing history to fight ( let alone win ) as an Amputee! Hell , all Rocky had to over come was a bad attitude!! "The criminal and the soldier at least have the virtue of being against something or forsomething in a world where many people have learned to accept a kind of grey nothingness, tostrike an unreal series of poses in order to be considered normal.... It's difficult to saywho is engaged in the greater conspiracy--the criminal, the soldier, or us." -StanleyKubrick "I don't think that writers or painters or filmmakers function because they have somethingthey particularly want to say. They have something that they feel. And they like the artform; they like words, or the smell of paint, or celluloid and photographic images andworking with actors. I don't think that any genuine artist has ever been oriented by somedidactic point of view, even if he thought he was." --Stanley Kubrick "I haven't come across any recent new ideas in film that strike me as being particularlyimportant and that have to do with form. I think that a preoccupation with originality ofform is more or less a fruitless thing. A truly original person with a truly original mindwill not be able to function in the old form and will simply do something different. Othershad much better think of the form as being some sort of classical tradition and try to workwithin it." --Stanley Kubrick "I've never achieved spectacular success with a film. My reputation has grown slowly. Isuppose you could say that I'm a successful filmmaker--in that a number of people speak wellof me. But none of my films have received unanimously positive reviews, and none have doneblockbuster business." -Stanley Kubrick "I believe that drugs are basically of more use to the audience than to the artist. I thinkthat the illusion of oneness with the universe, and absorption with the significance ofevery object in your environment, and the pervasive aura of peace and contentment is not theideal state for an artist. It tranquilizes the creative personality, which thrives onconflict and on the clash and ferment of ideas. The artist's transcendence must be withinhis own work; he should not impose any artificial barriers between himself and themainspring of his subconscious. One of the things that's turned me against LSD is that allthe people I know who use it have a peculiar inability to distinguish between things thatare really interesting and stimulating and things that appear to be so in the state ofuniversal bliss that the drug induces on a "good" trip. They seem to completely lose theircritical faculties and disengage themselves from some of the most stimulating areas of life.Perhaps when everything is beautiful, nothing is beautiful." --17 "I would not think of quarreling with your interpretation nor offering any other, as I havefound it always the best policy to allow the film to speak for itself." --Stanley Kubrick . "The great nations have always acted like gangsters, and the small nations likeprostitutes." -Stanley Kubrick ............................................................ .....................................................

One of my close friends wrote a screenplay, it is called "ON THE ROPES" it is a true story, "based" on a real person. His name is Craig "Gator" Bodzianowski, who in the 80's was a promising cruiser weight pro boxer with a great record{13-0}Then he lost his leg below the knee in a motorcycle mishap. This is a true story of incredible will, courage, determination and skill. He goes on to defy the authorities, critics and naysayers to fight for the cruiser weight championship of the world!! the only PRO athelete to EVER participate on that level as an amputee, period. Like I said, this is a TRUE tale and a sure blockbuster. The screen writers synopsis to follow:ON THE ROPESThis is the incredible true story of Chicago South Sider Craig Gator Bodzianowski, who made one of the greatest professional sports comebacks ever. Gator takes his never quit attitude that he got from his father into the boxing ring and compiles an amazing amateur record. Soon he turns pro and resolves to become the cruiserweight champion of the world. He meets and falls in love with Sheila, a beautiful girl whos athletic enough to keep pace with him. While Gator winning record continues to grow, so does his ego. Once Sheila realizes hes cheating on her, she dumps him. Gators father, his coach and his brother, Billy, warn him he had better straighten out his wild ways or suffer his first knockout. Only after Billys accidental death does Gator refocus and rededicate himself to winning the title.Everything changes when he has a horrific motorcycle accident. After several operations his lower right leg has to be amputated. The doctors say his boxing career is over but he will be able to jog again on prosthesis. Gators friends, trainers and family are devastated. But Gator knows what no one else knows. He knows that if he can jog, he can run. And if he can run, he can box.Through harrowing pain, dedication and focus, Gator makes a remarkable recovery. Sheila sees the changes in him and comes back to support him. Defying all his critics, Gator fights to get back in the ring and after many setbacks, makes his professional comeback and wins. When Gators critics charge that the fight was fixed, the cry goes out to revoke his license.Gator proves them wrong again by taking on all comers and compiling an impressive winning record. He has to fight boxing commissions, critics, boxers and perceptions. Gator perseveres and amazes the world with his comeback, culminating in an extraordinary world title fight.Gator shows the world how to fight with your heart. The world shows Gator what the most important things in life are, love and family. .. width="500" height="300" .. On The Ropes was a quarter finalist in the Maui Screen writing Competition and the Empire Screenplay Contest, the Illinois Screen writing Contest, a finalist at the Script Connection, and semifinalist in the Nicholls Fellowships. This dramas humor and raw power will make a great vehicle for an up and coming star.
