March 6 & 7 at the Triple Door

About Me

Tickets are going fast for Harvey Danger's 10th Anniversary Public Spectacle, a two night extravaganza at the Triple Door celebrating the 10th anniversary of the release of our first album, Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone?. On Thursday March 6 we'll be playing Merrymakers in its entirety, along with a bunch of b-sides, rarities, and covers. On Friday March 7 we'll play all of King James Version and Little By Little. Many of these songs haven't been played in quite some time and aren't likely to be played again! Plus, we'll be joined on both nights by Alsaka/Nebraska (Eric Howk and Jacob Hoffman from The Lashes) and a bunch of special surprise guests! Both shows are all-ages, and you can get tickets here and here . Check our calendar for any other new developments...
In case you didn't know, our latest album Little By Little... is available right now at a record store near you, courtesy of Olympia, WA-based label Kill Rock Stars . You can also get it directly from us at shows, on our website , and on iTunes. Also, Barsuk Records recently released our Little Round Mirrors EP, which features some new songs and live recordings.
Speaking of shows, if you're wondering when we're going to play in [insert the name of your town here], we have no plans at the moment, but rest assured that whenever we do schedule any shows, they'll appear in the "Upcoming Shows" box above.
Here's our new-ish video for "Moral Centralia," directed by Seattle filmmaker Lynn Shelton :

The complete history of Harvey Danger is now on our blog...
The short version: We played our first show in April 1994 and put out our first album, Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone?, in July '98. It was later picked up by a major label and met with some success, etc. Our second album, King James Version, was released in Sept. 2000 to little fanfare, but some critical acclaim. A three-year hiatus soon followed, during which we went our separate ways, but stayed active musically. We got back together in early-2004, just in time for our 10th anniversary, and released our third album, Little By Little..., in Sept. '05. And we all lived happily ever after. (You can also download Little By Little... for free on our website, www.harveydanger.com .)
Also: If you're wanting us to add some song called "Paranoia" to our player, you might want to listen to the songs that are already on there. You just might find what you're looking for...
