...perfecting the art of savagery

About Me

A splash of New York glam with motor oil under the nails...triple mix of cornbread, volume & humidity. Songs containing both notes & beats. Staff comprised of pretty boy want-to-be's. Yo! Yo! fronting hillbilly heavy metal cutting like detergent on the back of the throat. Disco embezzling helter-kooky sounds...stabbed through the loins with sugar boogie intensity. You got John Fuller shredding like an elephant on meth... good for a yodel and a muted harmonic. Stomping, slapping time and most sensibly creeping-with-the-beat is Robbie Stephens. Filter for the lame, Robbie can be as retractive as a mule. Icy Jihadist Jim Troglen still prefers vinaigrette to ranch. Spitting tricky when he can get a mic, he also serves as Fuller's ax duty comrade. We're talking James Hall, out there bellowing most. James can sing like a girl and display a range of emotions through a number of wind, key and stringed instrumentation...known for instigating parties. Roman Glick is responisble for thud/thud as well as "lite AM" vocals. Roman likes to sprinkle in sheet-metal savings with his morning java and has hooligan constitution. Incorporated as PLAYER/KOMMANDER, you will notice that they have a "/ " or "slash" in their dubbing. Often known as "THE" PLAYER/KOMMANDER and sometimes referred to as PLAYER/COMMANDER, when spelled in the proper Kings English. The associates as well as the musical staff themselves are most giddy that you are viewing "said" world wide web destination. PLAYER/KOMMANDER has a sonic gathering featuring 13 tracks that as a collective will be referenced as..... "ON THE EVE OF ABSOLUTE GET DOWN."

Influences: Regarding sonic aspects: Both Air & Air Supply, Faron Young and Fine Young Cannibals, Nu Shooz but not Nu Metal. Ray Davies & The Baby's. Pieces of Daft Punk, but only certain punk rock. Curtis Mayfield, Randy Rhoads, Steve Harris, Peter Wolf. Music by and geographical locations such as Kansas, Alabama and of course Black Oak Arkansas. Jeffrey Lee Pierce, Gang Of Four, Japan and most-probably Willie Nelson. Equal parts Lou Reed to Jerry Reid. Jodeci & Joe Walsh. Both Ric Ocasek & Derringer. Helix meets Hall & Oates. Martin Gore with Marty Stuart.
Sounds Like: Waves of audio containing cracked 4-on-the-floor, boom boom, desolate falsetto. Grunge-like nothingness. New-Black faux goth. Pop with it's short comings...anthemic at it's most vulnerable. Radical Romantic with a sucker punch of glitterbilly....
