About Me

Some things just keep on coming back. People you kill might haunt you, til you go insane, Instruments you negelect might force you to give them your attention and the blood dribbling from your tortured fingertips... My Cello made several attempts to become my musical partner again throughout the last years. After doing some Theatre Music, now it finally made it into the line-up of the Dark Riff'n'Roll band E-Lane... I can't help it. I am consumed by this instrument, be it my dignified classical Cello that was played by generations of musicians, or my Yamaha SVC 100, played by Benni Cellini of Letzte Instanz before. Give me a bottle of red vine and the appealing sound of strings, hit by a bow and I am a lucky man.

My Interests

music, books, movies, theatre, arts, culture on general and different cultures - therefor also cults and religions and history. And because we live in a world of societies: philosophy and social theories.

I'd like to meet:

Myself

Next Show: 27.12. Corso Bar/Konstanz + Das Scheit + Remember Twilight

Music:

Loads of stuff! Expect the unexpected when it comes to mixing Psychobilly and Horrorpunk with russian sinfonic music, ska with goth or brutal metal with old school jazz. Imagine Slipknot hooking up with Django Reinhardt or Tori Amos playing along to the Cramps. Enjoy Depeche Mode until I change to Machine Head and relax when it comes to Bach's Cello Suites. The next storm might just be on the way.

Movies:

Bram Stoker's Dracula, Lord Of The Rings, American Werewolf, The Last Temptation Of Christ, Tim Burton Movies in general, Walk The Line, Spider, Pollock, Shadow Of The Vampire, Benny & Joon, The Big Lebowski, Being John Malkovich, American Beauty, Star Wars, Underworld, Hilary & Jackie, Heavenly Creatures...

Books:

Mostly german Literature, because I'm able to read the originals. I love reading Drama (from baroque Gryphius over the classics like Goethe or Schiller to Büchner, Brecht, Max Frisch... as a non German author Shakespeare is a must of cause). Otherwise: E.T.A. Hoffmann, Joseph Roth, Günter Grass, Uwe Johnson, Terézia Mora, Christoph Ransmayr... Poetry throughout the History of Literature with a special like for Expressionism. To many books/texts/authors to mention.

Heroes:

NO MORE HEROES!
