SARAH began to sing almost before to speak. At the age of four or five her father bought a new CD, the german version of the musical “Catsâ€, and she fascinated herself with what a musical was: to sing, to act and to dance became hers daily priority. At the age of 10 she was a complete expert in musicals, and until the age of 14 it was all her world. Then something changed when she realized that dancing was not her greatest attribute. With the advice of her singing teacher, she decided to give a chance to the Opera. After 4 years singing Opera, she discovered heavy music for herself. It started with crossover bands like "H-Blockx", and followed later with other groups like Marilyn Manson, Soulfly, Slipknot, Rammstein, Metallica, Godsmack, Disturbed and many more. Her Mom was a bit shocked when she realized that her innocent musical and opera girl turned into a “Dark Queen of the Nightâ€, but when she was 18 and met Fabian everything was decided, they created the own band, it didn’t exist a way back…she was already e-nfected!FABIAN started playing guitar at the age of eight. He had his first band when he was 14, an oldie-cover-band. In 2003 he met Sarah and they created what is today E-Lane. Though sometimes is not easy, he as the rest of the band give all to keep things going on.CHRIZ was born in a family heavily influenced by art. His grandfather and his parents were always taking care about his musical education, mostly classical Cello and being part of the church choir. The fact that his father was using motives like cemeteries and goat skulls, or working on his own etching series of a “Dance Of Deathâ€, had a healthy influence on him concerning to a certain sense for the gothic side of life. A love for horror movies and a passion for bats followed it later, and finally both, music and his love for the darkness came together one day. His first band “The Qazimodoz†was founded in 1989, a mix of Funpunkabilly-tunes with songs about graveyard-parties, nightmares, alien sex and other things that might get a young brain ticking. After playing for 3 years there, he did some work for a rather traditional Wave-Rock-Project, writing songs close to The Mission and Sisters Of Mercy stuff, but it didn’t really works like a band. Then he joined a Hardcore-Combo as a bass player, and discovered that working in a rhythm section it was exactly what he always had wanted. In 1995, after playing the bass in several bands, he joined E-Lane for doing some bass lines in the recording of “Awake Your Sensesâ€. He felt it was his place…the rest is history, a history that makes complete sense after all…THOMMY sat down in a drum stool when he was 15. The result was a loud clang, but it was really funny for him. The following 13 years he had the chance to improve it, and he went through Metal, Rock, Punk and other different styles bands. After that, he moved to southern Germany. He found himself at home there, mainly due to friends, to some bands he played in and to E-Lane, his second family!Oct 12 2007-8:00 PM Berlin/K17Oct 18 2007-8:00 PM Konstanz/Kulturladen
