About Me

Me!

Hi, I'm 'Me' and a full-time Support Worker. I used to be a Semi-Skilled Baker at a well known supermarket chain but the job (and Bakery manager) was shite, so i left. I only stuck it because i had a mortgage to pay!

I have a three bedroom house with my fiancee. We've been living there now for 2 years! Apart from my brilliant job I like to think of myself as a part-time, home-recording musician. My four-track recorder is pretty basic but love it nonetheless! I play drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, bongos and didgeridoo!

I love life and music paves the way for me.

I used to be the drummer in two great bands Alice Loves Picasso (Alternative Pop/Rock/Grunge) and Deafening Silence (Thrash-Metal). Both bands did quite well on the local scene but differences arose on both occasions. The founder of Alice..., Miss Laura Thompson, went on to the singer/songwriter route while the lead vocalist, Miss Lucy White, ventured into the locally successful DIY- Indie/Jangle-Pop group scene, And What Will Be Left Of Them? Mr Andrew Stone (bass player in Deafening Silence) rocked with Thrash-Metal outfit Headless-Cross, but i think he has left the band now. I did do some recording with my cousin, Ian, who's absolutely brilliant on electric guitar. I compare him to Joe Sariani and Steve Vai. We recorded a few tracks with me on bass and synth drums and him on lead and rhythm guitars. Who knows, this little venture might work out as a full time project. But at the moment, I'm recording cover songs at home by the likes of Bob Dylan, The Incredible String band, Green Day, The Jam and other great artist's tunes that I love to work out!
