Welcome to the space of Adrian Elissen, flamenco guitarist. Some performing highlights include: a solorecital in the Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, the 11th International Percuba 2000 Festival (Havana, Cuba), Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall, International Bursa Festival (Turkey) and the Homenaje a José Luis Postigo (Córdoba, Spain), as well as other Dutch major theaters including: De Doelen, Paradiso, Meervaart and Tropentheater.Recently he recorded his first solo cd: Nubes y Claros. For listening and ordering please visit: www.adrianelissen.comAdrian Elissen studied with Paco Peña at the Rotterdam Conservatory where he graduated cum laude in 2001 as a soloist/performer. He received several Dutch and Spanish scholarships to study and work in Andalusia, Spain, where he was contracted for the flamenco group of the guitarist Juan Ramón Caro (Maíte Martín, Belén Maya). Recently he was invited to play with Seville dancer Andrés Marín and he is performing as a soloist, with his trio, adding flamenco singers and dancers.Last year he was asked to be on the examination committee of the Rotterdam Conservatory flamenco department together with Paco Peña and was appointed teacher at the Taller Flamenco in Seville, Spain.
