With considerable technical knowledge and an over active imagination, Qbist Sound System achieves genre-breaking sets. After 2 years of live production performances and Drum & Bass DJ sets while working along side international acts, Qbist Sound System relocated to Austin, Texas. Following his arrival, Qbist Sound System produced their first release "Illatronix," featuring vocals by Gray Matter, Catlin, GReal and Lauren Fine.
Qbist Sound System followed up this underground classic with their self-titled album again featuring the artist, Gray Matter. The harmonics of this production are highlighted by the "edge of reason" lyrics of Gray Matter and features artists: Doug B Fresh and Joe Average. After being involved in several remix projects from 2005-2006, and the release of "Snagga Toof" with brilliant lyricist ollie ox, and the release of several other remix projects for a wide genre of artists (nine inch nails, capleton, stevie b, sizzla, elephant mon beastie boys), Qbist sound system is now involved with still several collaboration and production projects, Nibb The Album with outspoken and clever austin lyricist NiBB, A mix cd project featuring several lyricists across the globe, promising a whopping 53 tracks of non stop culture, hip hop and dancehall riddim, and Ollie Ox the second coming.
