About Me

Aimann & Lion Head is a great reggae combination that is composed of a Unique mixed of artist that will definetely give you a chill by listening to their unique sound. Initially very Inspired, Lead Singer Aimann Raad, accompagned by experienced and talented musicians, deliver some strickly Roots music to keep your head up high in Jah Sky. Aimann, who is the Lion Head performed in street corners, bars, hotels, parties and festivals around the world. Originally Lebanese but from the West African region of Ivory coast, and currently living in Haiti, Aimann is a reggae talent yet to be discovered. Lion Head is doing jah work by working on new songs and inspirations and delivering some Roots Rock Reggae Music with a message of peace love unity and an original style.The mix of culture give a unique touch to the music we can call strictly roots.Aimann recorded in many studios (Jamaica, Austin, Ivory coast), recorded his first song titled "Wanted for Arrest" in Montego bay,J.A with High Quest Production ( thanks to Dave) , and his other songs are "I RIDE WITH JAH" with Grimy styles and Zeke Production in Austin, TX and " Trouble in the world","Crisis in the Middle East ","Young Blood", "Up on the road", "Them Politicians" in Abidjan with Patche Production and "Days I Remember" with Mc Pullish and Charlie's Record, " In my country" with Jacin sound system, "Do jah Work" YA FOY production, "Live th right way" with Dub Soljah,"Lucifer" with Sean B, "Rainmaka with NIKKAGE and Hassan alin production,"How do i feel" with Fneiche at patche production. Aimann made appearances with the Ying Yang Twins at the 2004 Austin Marley Festival, EEK-A -MOUSE during one of his shows in Austin,Grimy Styles at flamingo cantina Ruta Maya and EEOR'S Birthday, and played the Austin Marley festival 2005 , 2006, and 2008. Recently Aimann played the Abidjan Reggae festival 08 and Tiken Jah Fakoli concert in Dec 07 that drew about 20, 000 people and Kymani marley Live in Haiti last october.As of Today the Lion Head project could not have been possible without the generosity and help from Jah, the people and artists which i'll always be thankful for supporting me and the music . Lion Head added more spices into their music by working with different talented musicians with the same convictions and faith to spread the message of peace , love and unity with Reggae Music.Aimann Raad is the Lead singer of Lion Head and on Rhythm guitar , he's the former front man of the local Austin reggae band the Seven seals. He is originally Lebanese, but born in Cote D'iVoire (iVORY COAST), Grew up around the West African Influence and a Middle EAST CULTURE in Ivory coast (West Africa), and is currently living between Austin and Abidjan.As of Today the Lion Head project is still at a grass root level and could not have been possible without the generosity and help from Jah, the people and artists which i'll always be thankful for supporting me and the music .
