About Me

New Child is Native American and hails from the Ho-Chunk, Tewa, Seneca and Chickasaw people. In addition to his own Native culture, he has also grown up with the influence of todays Hip Hop culture. New Child has been street rhymin for about seven years. With a slick musical approach New Child uses tight beats and serious rhymes to convey the message of Jesus on the Cross;because he believes this is a message that all the world needs to hear. "New Child comes from 2 Cor. 5:17," therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation". I got my name when I was a dj for my school's radio station, I needed a dj name and one of my frequent callers called in and named me New Child, so thats where it came from."

Influences: I got saved May 17,1998 at First Indian Baptist Church. I've was raised in church and heard how to be saved many times. It wasn't til after highschool that I really understood what it meant to be a Christian. It was then in May of '98 that I really wanted to nail that down in my life. Since then I've been doing ministry of all kinds. I recently graduated from Wayland Baptist University. It was in my last year of college that I kept wondering what I would be doing after school. In college I began rapping more and more at school and local churches in that area. It was in my last semester that I began doing alot of rap ministry. Since then alot of doors have opened up for this ministry and now I'm just open to go wherever God wants to use me.
