VENT are Dan Havers (DJ Samurai / DC Breaks) and Sam Ashwell (Diagoro / Abstrakt Knights). The pair have individually released on imprints such as Viper / Touchin Bass / Frequency / Colony Productions / DC Breaks Recs / Erratica / Restless Natives and Cultivated Electronics.
Dan runs DC Breaks Recordings and Sam runs Colony Productions.
Their fist release as VENT - Silicon Age EP - is due out on Colony Productions (COL:011) early this Summer. They've been in the studio for the last year and have almost finished their first long player also due out on Colony Productions. It will be available in the form of a triple pack 12", ranging from Techy DnB to Noodley Breaks, to 100bpm party mayhem.
They also have a release lined up for the infamous Nu Skool Breaks label Hardcore Beats, DJ Samurai's DC Breaks Recs and a remix 12 for Colony in the pipe line featuring Si Begg, Cursor Miner and Ed Chamberlin. Vent can be booked to Dj or to play Live... see below for details.
