About Me

"Bob Marley had this idea. It was kind of a virologist idea. He believed that you could cure racism and hate... literally cure it, by injecting music and love into people's lives. When he was scheduled to perform at a peace rally, a gunman came to his house and shot him down.
"Two days later he walked out on that stage and sang.
"When they asked him why, he said, "The people who are trying to make this world worse are not taking a day off. How can I?
"Light up the darkness.
"
-- I Am Legend
So despite my previously adamant insistance that I would not become a slave to any blog program, MySpace has become an official hub of my social activity. Surprise! And I said it would never happen. Pffff. That's what I get for being a digital media student.
Hm, other things... I demand respect. Respect me and I'll respect you back and all that junk. Er...I, like the friend who inspired the phrase, am down with the kaya. I am happiest surrounded by good friends and good smoke, with a White Russian in one hand and a TV remote in the other.
Hmmm... personal stuff, personal stuff... Well, if you wanna know that, you better meet me in person. Same shit, just a different buffet. I make films and animation, and am a digital audio productions/recording engineer major. I make my bread with art commissions, mainly paintings and custom XBox 360 faceplates.
I kinda sorta like Metalocalypse...
Um, also I like bannana and blue Slurpees. A LOT. And blankets ('specially Skwisgaar's big ol' white fur one).
Nice to meet you, too. Call me Stitch if you like or even if you don't; whatever's clever. New friends are always welcome (especially if you've got a sense of humour)!
About Metalocalypse/Dethklok:
Metalocalypse is a fifteen-minute animated comedy on Adult Swim, created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha. According to co-creator Brendon Small, "The show is basically about a (half-American/half Scandinavian) metal band (Dethklok) that is about a million times bigger than the Beatles. But a million times more dangerous and a millions times more stupid. This show promises violent murder. Violent violent murder. And metal." (I myself liken it to an animated, hyper-violent death metal version of Spinal Tap!; I'm not the only one.)The show is written and produced at Titmouse, Inc. in Hollywood, California. The studio has produced shows such as MTV's Downtown, and The Amazing Screw-On Head.
Check out my Metalocalypse reviews and articles at dethklok.org.

My Interests

Alcohol, intoxication, smokes, art, animals, reptiles, spiders, anime, Adult Swim, crime scene investigation, dogs, myself. I'm a poet who at first didn't know it. Now I'm in the library of Congress, so I kinda know it now.

I'd like to meet:

A Lobotomist dressed up like Cappy Mo. ...Who would erase my mind with rum. Hell yeah.

BY JULIET SARMANSADANDLE, AKA LIL BRUTAL, AKA LITTLE SIS. THANK YOU!

Music:

Anything that hurts the ears of passers-by. That's why blasting Cannibal Corpse in your car loud enough to make the steering wheel jitter makes finding a parking space at school almost fun.

Movies:

Don't get me started. I have a huge black and white Scarface tattoo on my hip and side; guess what movie I adore the most?

Television:

Metalocalypse, of course. And pretty much all other Adult Swim shows, though I can't stay awake through 'em like I used to. Frisky Dingo's also a clever show!

Books:

Everybody Poops (and the less popular Nobody Poops But You). Oh and those new Scarface graphic novels that just came out. And thick ones that are good for throwing and then blaming on roadies and pinheads.

Heroes:

Can't you guess that by now?

My Blog

William Peter Blatty

rocks my socks. The guy just marinates you in juicy, delicious metaphors. Hoorah for Blatty. Go read his stuff (he wrote The Exorcist; that's as good a place as any to start).
