I Love Music !!! I Love Music !!! I Love Music !!! I Love Music !!! I Love Music !!! I Love Music !!!I have been absolutely passionate about music all of my life, and I always jumped at the chance to learn how to play any kind of musical instrument whenever the opportunity arose. As far back in my life as I can remember I started dreaming of playing in a band. When I was a kid I would go to sleep at night listening to my record player and pretending one night I was the guitar player, and the next night I was the bass player, and the next night I was the drummer and so on. The opportunity came for me to get into my first band at the age of 15 and the rest is history. My interest in music is so broad and varried that you never know what I will be writing or composing next. I spend most of my free time now writing and recording original music and playing everything myself. THANK YOU LORD JESUS for the gift of music !!!!!!!Besides what I now do with my own thing I also play with a really great band called The Footnotes. We are an 8 piece band with a 4 sometimes 5 piece horn section. There is a 13 minute DEMO track on my player here called THE FOOTNOTES DEMO. It will let you hear what we are all about.I have just finished my very first CD. IT'S ALL BLACK & WHITE TO ME I am so excited !!! Band Members:Rick Paulus on trumpet, lead and rhythm guitars, bass guitar, piano and keyboards, drums and percussion and or drum programming, lead and backup vocals, recording studio engineer, production manager, composer, songwriter, arranger, editor, and lastly but not leastly, valve oiler, guitar string changer (not often enough), guitar polisher (even less often), guitar pick keeper upper with person (which is all the time because you know those skinny little things are always tryin to get away from ya), wire and cable wrapper upper, and just generally chief cook and bottle washer, oh and one other thing, but I just can't seem to remember what that other thing is right at the moment but I know it's around here somewhere ((-:
