In the filthy sludge depths of Vancouver, the smoke clears – albeit briefly. With a thunderous cough, three shadowy figures emerge from the miasma. The throaty Deuce on guitar and vocals, tattooed drumming beauty Bina and the heavy handed ‘The Judge’ on bass. They’ve come to deliver another offering, their newest creation ‘White Rhino’.

Wow, wow and wow. These guys describe themselves as stoner rock in their promo, but that only tells a small part of the story. Sure there is that deep, dark, blues driven Black Sabbathy sludge to kick back to and do the doobie thing. But this disc hammers the metal home too. Oh yea!!! The singer is clean, but deep and gravelly . The drums are phenomenal. From the very first piece of pounding, you can know that Mendozza does something different.Put together Black Sabbath (or Cathedral/ St. Vitus/ etc.) with some White Zombie and some Soulfly/ Sepultura with maybe a dash of old Fear Factory. You can guess, Mendozza may not be in the underground for long.
Get them while they're hot!!! This CD is a lot of fun.
