BRING ME BACK A PLATE!

About Me

The Toughtimes had been in the making for some 5 years. Original members Anthony Estrada and Nick Santos-Carter founded the band, picked up a couple drummers along the way, and settled on their main skin man Todd Searles. These three guys crank out the funkiest, toughest, raw and heartfelt music one could have only hoped to hear at points further south in all the hole-in-the-wall jukes, or for that matter the Midwest (Chicago and Detroit, namely, where they draw a lot of influence and material from) until now. The Northwest is ready for some of that greasy gritty back-alley music that moves and grooves.... You can say our music is "Urban Americana". Idea Soldier Sounds International is proud to present THE TOUGHTIMES! For booking info call Anthony @ (253) 228-3683. And yes, we will play your house party for beer, soda (bring soda, because Ant can’t drink) and snacks.

The seperation of church and state....

In the midst of all this election madness, it sickens me to see bands telling you to vote for this and that. While this IS America (I hope), I don't think it's our place as musicians to push our belie...
