About Me

The Last Heat makes a new turn on the complex road of poprock. A road that’s usually full og bumps or totally smoothed out. Longing melodies, surprising turns and unusual chord structures is some of the things you can expect to hear in a Last Heat-song. At the same time the music is full of beautiful harmonies, straight soft-rock beats and clever musicianship in fresh arrangements. Moving between the borders of pop and countryrock, this band has the swing of Jackson Browne or The Band, while in the next moment, they are bursting out in Springsteen-esque energybombs.

New gigs

The Last Heat (Øystein & Blom) will be supporting El Cuero on some shows on their tour this fall. Øystein will also be handling the bassguitar-duties with El Cuero on these nights.
