About Me

What to say, I was born in Leytonstone, East London in 1977, the year music returned. I have a younger sister, who I love very much, and two parents (unsurprisingly) who I also love very much, and a chosen family of friends who I would do anything for, and guess what .... I love all of them alot to.I love music, noisy guitars where my first love, and still listen to it when I'm in the mood, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Deftones, Stone Temple Pilots, Korn, Life Of Agony, White Zombie, lots of alternative stuff like The Cure, Siouxie and the Banshees, Joy Division all the way to The Happy Mondays and The Stone Roses. But over the last few years have developed a serious thing for dance music, especially Old Skool and House. Carl Cox, Ratpack, Slipmatt and Billy Bunter are now my everyday music.Got into DJing about 3 years ago, started with garage and house, then went onto old skool and D'n'B, but house is favourite, the one I enjoy the most. At the moment I'm just trying to get known and start playing out, just me, my record box and my ear goggles (and maybe a drink or 4).Into mash-up house and electro/funky house more than anything else at the moment, pretty much any heavy tune or anything with bongo drums in it.I now have a show on an internet radio station www.virtuosolive.com. my show goes out on tuesday evening 7pm - 9pm (GMT). Be there or be rectangular.I am good friends with Mr Bong & DJ Mumbles (who have a show on Raw Flex 103.6fm every wednesday 10pm til midnight, which i have been a guest DJ on) who are responsible for me getting into spinning vinyl. So if you ever see me live and you dont like it, blame them (ha ha).Also good mates with Dast69 and XRK, check out their site for the best in new Drum n Bass, heavy tunes all the way.Love to go out, especially to Raindance (I'll be the one in the Old Skool room dancing like a maniac) the best night out on the face of this or any other planet. My Interests

Music (Turntables, Guitar and Listening), Film, Books, TV (see below) and going out. Love sports, football especially, I'm a Chelsea fan (I was there before Abramovic), I also like ice hockey, rugby, snooker, pool, darts, poker and playing on my PS2(just like every bloke). I also love going down the pub with my mates, going out to clubs and spending time with my family.

I'd like to meet:

All my heroes, which would make for a disturbing cocktail party as at least half of them are dead. Try explaining that to the police when it gets out of control at 2 in the morning. Into everything thats got any sort of beat or mood. House, Garage, Drum n Bass, Old Skool, Metal, Rock, Soul, Hip Hop/Rap, Blues, Jazz, Folk. You name it.

Have even been known on occassion to listen to classical music as well, nothing heavy, just the sort of stuff you've heard on TV commercials.

Movies:

Human Traffic, Trainspotting, Football Factory, Seven, The Devils Advocate, Scarface, Fight Club, any film featuring Jay and Silent Bob, Sin City, Lost In Translation, Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, Goodfellas, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, Where The Buffalo Roam, From Dusk Til Dawn, Schindlers List, Ghostbusters, The Great Muppet Caper. Anything like that.

Spaced, Big Train, Black Books, Life On Mars, Family Guy, MTV Dance, Later With Jools Holland, The Simpsons, Scrubs, Top Gear, The Friday Night Project, South Park, Nevermind The Buzzcocks, QI and the one and only Match Of The Day.

Books:

Anything written by Hunter.S.Thomson, biographys i.e Roy Shaw, Lenny McLean and Mark "Chopper" Read, The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings by JRR Tolkien or graphic novels and comics i.e The Crow, Spawn, Sin City and Judge Dredd. My favourite at the moment is Daredevil:Guardian Angel written by Kevin Smith.
