Welcome to my official Myspace. It is great to have an awesome network like this to interact with my friends. I welcome all good people to my page and I'll do my best to check my mail daily. It also appears that a miracle band is finally coming together, and a live project is in the works. The members are Brady Heuser, John DeLong, Scott Cecil, and me. I'll keep you posted as we get close to playing shows. Also, I will be finishing at Berklee School of Music at the end of this summer, so after that I'll be able to focus on making some new recordings and finally release a real CD. The cool thing is that the CD will be produced by a licensed professional.. ME! Being totally independent allows me to create whatever I want whenever I want with no strings and nobody to please.About the Myspace postings: 63 Galaxie was recently removed to make room for something new. It has been replaced by a funky-spaceage tune called the Amazing Knob Tweaking Pop Perversion. It's one of these new-fangled elctro-acoustic things. Let me know if you like it. Spacecar was out here and has been a favorite. It is gone from here, but will definitely be a re-record this fall, but I'll keep the original version out on www.shanebakermusic.com. Hippie Wind and Viva Bailar are the newest songs and are reflective of my interest in hand percussion recently. While U Were Sleeping was sitting dormant for 15 years or so and I brought it to life a while back. Hope you enjoy the new version of it. All the songs on my official site are a collection of what I've been doing the past year or two... some are really just demos or experiments at this point, but all will culminate into an album this fall. I've gotten a lot of good feedback about Little Bitch's 15th Birthday Song, but you'll just have to check it out yourself. Stay tuned for the CD release this fall and for our gigs coming late summer (hopefully).Peace, Shane
