The Beef Jerky is Old News, How About Some Guac!

About Me

We're a mix of old time psychadelia with some country - a little age and a little youthful exuberance. We started off as the acoustic duo Shane & Griff in 2005 and have since grown the band to include a really excellent bassist, Mike Chavez and prodigy boy, Ben Streicher. This gave us 3 gears of musical jamminess. Now with the addition of Scott Cecil on percussion, we have added an overdrive gear to our jams and we're having a lot of fun. We're currently playing the Cincinnati scene and making our presence felt around the city. This summer we are playing several festivals and shows... always searching for the best gigs. We love to play extended jams and we love to get really raw on some old classics. We like to put The Kickdowns stamp on everything we do. Can be best described as ballsy and raw, yet somehow classic and fun.
