The historic momentum behind healthcare reform in California right now represents a huge opportunity for artists and creative entrepreneurs to weigh in, be heard, and fight for a healthcare plan that works for them and all Californians. While there are many good ideas on the table, there are also reforms that threaten to leave self-employed workers - including artists - out in the cold. We must work together to make sure this doesn't happen. We Need Your Help The campaign will only be as strong as the people who participate in it. We need your help! Take part: If you're a working artist, take part in a first-ever statewide survey of artists' health insurance needs. You can access the survey online at www.artistsunitedforhealthcare.org. - Please do so by August 15th!Sign up: The AUFH website is also the online hub of the campaign where you can connect with other artists and hook into campaign activities. Get educated: Stay on top of the healthcare debate by following the news and our campaign alerts. Tell a friend: Encourage other artists in your community to join this effort. Get active: Be part of the campaign's advocacy efforts to urge the Governor and State Legislature to choose a healthcare reform plan that works for all Californians - including artists. Please visit our website, www.artistsunitedforhealthcare.org, and take the Artists' Survey by August 15th!
