About Me

Hello!! My name is Aubyn and whatever it says my age is is probably a lie. Ok. I grew up in a stupid little bs town in Wisconsin. Worked and played there till I moved to California in 1980. I went to Sonoma State and graduated in 2001 with majors in history & geography. Hey, better late than never! I used to be one heck of a party girl but have sedated my inner animal for now. (You see, I had to give her a sleeping pill as she forgets how to behave.) Sad, I know. I'm still a free spirit, however!! I've been married for 20 something years. We have two sons. The elder is a junior at the real Cal Poly, the younger lives at home. My kids are the most amazing people I know. They are smart and they are strong. I love them with all my being. We keep chickens, a very fat cat and a dopey Gordon Setter named Jasper. I have a fascination with birds of prey. Hawks in particular. My Interests

I enjoy hiking, camping, backpacking and reading. I love traveling. I love finding hot springs and swimming naked. I love bonfires on the beach and fireworks. My friends are important to me, we like to go out and listen to music. I'm also a HUGE Oakland A's fan as well as a Packer fan. I'm an avid reader of the Dailykos left wing political blog; smart and dead on.
