[email protected]!Do your thing... in front of everybody!Come on down to Burbank's premiere open mic night at Romancing The Bean!Here's how it works: One drink minimum from the coffee bar. We fill up quickly, so email your sign-up early. The list is published Tuesday afternoon. Walk-ins are added to the tail of the list, space permitting. Performances start at 7:30 sharp. If you are not present when your name is called, you move to the end of the night. Please email ASAP to remove your name if you cannot attend, as you are denying others a chance to play. Performance slots are 10 minutes max.We're primarily a music crowd, but spoken word and comedy are welcome too. There are no restrictions on content, but we do ask that you please be mindful of your performance if kids are around.We provide: three really good microphones on stands, a direct-input for your guitar or keyboard, a keyboard stand, and a digital piano. You provide instruments and your talent. Audio CDs of your performance are available for $10 - just see the host, and your disc will be ready at the next open mic.With your permission, we'll put a recording and a photo of your performance on this MySpace page - check here often to see if your song is in rotation!So practice up those tunes, grab your friends, and drop by for some great coffee and fun!Romancing The Bean is located at 150 S.
