About Me

Hi MySpacers! Thanks for checking out my page!
A little about my music... I write about political issues, women's issues, love and platonic relationships, existential type questions, sex, spirituality and the why's and woah's of life.
I'm currently working on my third album which production-wise is heavily influenced by Dido and Seal.
Here is what some reviewers from Music Connection, Campus Circle, and Entertainment Today have said about me:

“her collection of songs comes together like an issue of Best American Short Stories” “Green’s biggest asset is her powerful voice which falls somewhere between the styles of Alanis Morissette and Fiona Apple” "soulful vocalist who sells every word she sings." "confessional lyrics, which don’t just empower the artist but also empower the listener as well" "a smooth, entertaining combination of beauty and strength" "packed with powerful writing, vocals, musicianship" "often prowling the stage, she is a striking figure" "riveting, incisive lyrics" "an exercise in inventive artistry" "a genuine zest for performing” “even the folks lingering in the back of the room couldn't help but get sucked into her rapture" "good old-fashioned handcrafted melodies and hooks to draw the listener in”
Here's a list of awards I am most proud of:
“MY CRIME” CD
-- *Outstanding Independent Pop Album* (2000 L.A. Music Awards)
“TRUCE” -- *Adult Alternative Album of the Year* (2003 L.A. Music Awards)
I will venture to say that if you enjoy the following artists, you might like to add one or both of my cd's to your collection... Indigo Girls, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette, Paula Cole, Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Jonatha Brooke, Tracy Chapman, Carol King, Chaka Kahn, Bonnie Raitt...
