On their latest 12” release, Discolite, the chameleons in Boulevard are shedding a layer of their rock ‘n’ roll skin for the elegance of synths and drum machines. With help from some friends (remixes by Dan Geller from I Am The World Trade Center, NYC’s DJ Japanster, and Winston Electric), Boulevard moves further along its trajectory, expanding the band’s influence, sound, and vision.In December of 2005, Boulevard’s Vice & Daring went to college radio, becoming 8th most added in the first week. Vice & Daring, an EP with no label support, out-added Death From Above and almost out-added The Darkness who debuted at 7 on the CMJ charts. In May 2006 Boulevard won the Zig Zag Live competition sponsored by CMJ and Spin Magazine. Summer 2006, Vice & Daring remains in the Top 40 in the UK on SKY Channel 0155 and Pulse Rated.
