An 18th century brain in a 21st century head.

About Me

nulli secunda. dance addict & scholar. with the passion for life that only an atheist can claim. and the expectations of an aristocrat.
i love: ancient Greek & Roman culture, Psychology, lucid dreaming, watching my favorite bands in London, James Bond novels and collectibles, the French Riviera (off-season), the ocean, Halloween in New Orleans, voodoo, night walks, romantiks, and passing the warm Southern nights with an occasional Dunhill.
i don't like: people who hurt animals, the war in Iraq, monkeys (scary!), and the walking dead.
i have worked in the travel industry, rock & roll, and am now running a spa & salon. i can also shoot straight and mix the perfect drink ;)

Which British Band Are You?

"Rien n'est vrai que ce qu'on ne dit pas..."--Jean Anouilh

"Die Weltgeschichte ist auch die Summe dessen, was vermeidbar gewesen wre." -- Konrad Adenauer (1876-1967), West Germany's first chancellor

"In the ancient world, after centuries of a gradual decline, the choice was the ideas of classical civilization or the ideas of Christianity. Men chose Christianity. The result was the Dark Ages."-- Leonard Peikoff

"we are punished for our refusals. every impulse that we strive to strangle broods in the mind and poisons us. the body sins once and has done with its sin, for action is a mode of purification. nothing remains then but the recollection of a pleasure or the luxury of a regret. the only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself, with desire for what its monstrous laws have made monstrous and unlawful."
-- Oscar Wilde {The Picture of Dorian Gray}
