Music - all sorts - from rock n' roll to classical to showtunes. I'm obsessed with writing anything and everything - rants, raves, blogs, parodies, songs, fantasy, as long as I am passionate about something, I can write. Drawing and painting (though not so often anymore,) learning Photoshop and editing photos to look cooler, philosophy and theology, going to bars and kicking back some beer (or whiskey, or vodka, or tequila, or jager, or Dirty Martinis...) Broadway musicals, trips to the casinos, hanging with my friends; whatever we're doing, driving down to New Jersey to be with my fiancee and listening to 101.5 all weekend.
Hell yeah, bitch.
At this point in my life, I've met many interesting people, and I've pretty much met everyone I could ever want to meet and then some. But I am always willing to be friends with bright, colorful, individualistic people, anyone who shares the same interests as me, or bands that fit into the types of music that I love. I am always up for something new.
Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Frank Zappa, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Def Leppard, Kiss, Heart, Van Halen, Black Sabbath (Ronnie James Dio years included), Ozzy Osbourne, Dio, Guns 'N Roses, Iron Maiden, The Who, The Beatles, Deep Purple, Queen, Pink Floyd, Cheap Trick, ZZ Top, Whitesnake, L.A. Guns, Quiet Riot, White Lion, Enuff Z'Nuff, Buckcherry, Bulletboys, Bang Tango, Pretty Boy Floyd, Dokken, Faster Pussycat, Green Day, H.I.M, Poison, Ratt, Sponge, Foo Fighters, Stone Temple Pilots, Styx, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Beck, Fuel, Live, Faith No More, Garbage, Lennon, David Bowie, White Zombie, Wednesday 13, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Electric Light Orchestra, George Harrison, Disturbed, EndeverafteR, Sugarcult, The Exies, Boston, Journey, Foreigner, Weird Al Yankovic, Meatloaf, Collective Soul, Eddie Money, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Genesis, Phil Collins, Billy Joel, Elton John, solo Freddie Mercury - Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Handel, Tchaikovsky, Ralph Vaughn Williams, Saint-Saens Holst, Samuel Barber, Gershwin, and of course sometimes I can't resist a string of 80's pop nostalgia hits or some really good '70's funk...
A TON but here's some of my all-time favorites: Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory (1971), The Star Wars Trilogy, Airplane!, The Producers, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, Beauty & The Beast, Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Carribean, Kill Bill Vol. I & II, Pulp Fiction, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, Red Dragon, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Miracle Worker, The Elephant Man, The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Sweeney Todd in Concert, Les Miserables in Concert, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Pink Panther Movies, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Almost Famous, The Sweetest Thing, Happy Feet, 1408, The Devil's Rejects, The Austin Powers Trilogy, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Ferris Buller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club, Edward Scissorhands, Shadowlands, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Harry Potter I-3 (Haven't seen 4 yet) Life is Beautiful, Clash of the Titans, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, The Muppet Movie, Dogma, Mallrats, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Love Actually, Flight of the Navigator, Big Fish, Spinal Tap, A Clockwork Orange, Rocky Horror Picture Show, RENT, A Day Without a Mexican, V for Vendetta, X-Men series...I'm pretty much willing to give anything a try...(except 'Charlie and The Chocolate Factory!') I love fantasy and
science-fiction...I like horror if it's creative, like the 'Saw' movies, but I'm much more partial to thriller-horrors like 'Silence of the Lambs.' As a rule I don't like romance movies, and I despise chick-flicks, and NO, I do NOT consider 'Love Actually' a chick-flick! Stop picking on that movie, BECAUSE ANY MOVIE WITH ALAN RICKMAN IN IT ROCKS!!!
(Don't diss the Alan Rickman!)
